Thank you James!  What a "fun" web site James created!  I found James' site six months ago and have been supplied with tons of "fun" ever since.  I've cyber met so many great people here.  I've met James Kitching, Russ Best, Two great Steves, Charlie, and many other great enthusiasts.  The quality of people James attracted to his site is remarkable!  What a great crowd James has!

Thanks James Close

to give her my number and he would call back. After only about 20 minutes Jim called back on his own dime and we ended up talking for almost an hour. Not many folks like that out there any more.Jim had that set down for a spell and have a cold drink kind of way about him. Scott Close

Like many I have never met James Kitching. I only knew him through his postings; phone conversations; and this website. But through the fruits of his website and his business and most important of all the generosity of his time and the strength of his integrity (sharing the truth to enlighten a neophyte customer), I knew him as a generous spirit. His legacy will be the memories we cherish. Airgunning will live on through the values that he inspired. Close

James, I've always respected your love for the shooting community! Your pain is understood by me, brother! My ankles are shot from landmine concussion during 'Nam. I still walk in defiance of these injuries. Wanda and Stephanie loved you deeply, brother.  I love you, too! I will be in your immobile shoes soon, brother! I pray to the Lord the strength to live and provide for mine, James! Thanks for your and your families contribution's to our airgun community's. Ric Close

Hath light now fell to shadow's seep
where ash to ash and dust do sleep
upon a bed of satin sheets
no soul restored, nor heart replete

Yet, as this veil of darkness falls
hear ye not the trumpet's call
Hope resounds from Heaven's gate
Seraphs sing and Saints await

So lay thy weary head to rest
upon the bosom of the blest
for in the care of Angel's keep
one worries not of shadow's seep Close

James Kitching is responsible for my interest in airguns. When I first found his site, quite by accident, i had forgotten the sport of airgunning for powder burning arms. By accessing his site and then the forum he set up I was able to rekindle the flame of airguns through the knowledge that was so freely given by other forum members and James himself. I owe James much for the pleasure he has once again brought into my life will be passed on to my son. Thankyou James, may you rest in peace.  Close

I never met or spoke to James Kitching, but thanks to him I have a wonderful "window" on the world of airgunning. His forum has become an important part of my day, though I may not necessarily post a lot. For this, I thank James, and sincerely mourn his untimely passing. My thoughts are with Wanda and the family, and to them I offer the Buddhist blessing; " may you be well, may you abide in peace, and may you be free from suffering."

I never met James, or even talked to him on the phone.  It is unusual that a person I knew from so remotely is so well respected and considered a friend.  James gave us our airgunning hangout.  He asked very little of us, only common courtesy, but opened his forum to us daily.  To all of James' airgun buddies, let's do what he wanted us to do.  Play with airguns and exercise common courtesy.

To James' family, I can only say that I am sorry for your loss.  I hope you find some comfort in knowing that James had so many friends.  That's a good example for us to work towards.

James helped many, but didn't ask for the spotlight or for admiration.  Reflecting is value as a person, he is admired and appreciated by many.  Thanks for all the help James, you'll be missed.

Dear Wanda and Kitching family,

Please accept my deepest sympathy...While I have never had the pleasure of meeting you or James in person, I was blessed to have known you as a customer...James and you were so kind to me on the phone...You and James took the time to talk with me...And answered all my dumb questions very graciously.

May time heal your pain, and fond memories fill your days...

Most sincerely

I didn't know James, but respected him from all I heard about him on this site.  Although an infrequent poster, I followed this site religeously as I learned more about this sport.
My sincere condolences,

We've lost another airgunning friend and acquaintance this week.  It's very sad to hear of the passing of people we know.  Thoughts and prayers to your family, James.  May you find your peace and tranquility in the hereafter.

Three years ago, after a serious back operation, I went into deep depression. I decided to look for a hobby, and started searching the web. As an avid hunter previously, airguns would be a natural. James' site was the first I found. I began to study, and gain as much information as possible. The rest is history, as I got involved, purchased several airguns, many from James, and started my new life. Because of James's efforts, and dedication, I recovered from the depression, and had a purpose. James will always have a place of importance in my heart and mind. Dennis-denskin <>< Close
